My artworks are a reflection of a man who is not alone in his life long struggle to cope emotionally in a world often obsessed with conformity rather than freedom of the mind. Where status, pomp and circumstance create winners and losers; where ability and effort matters less than reputation. My paintings seek to visit what I sense as beautiful and terrible about the human condition. To clad my own spiritual concerns, including my disillusionments in paint, metal and stone is my aim and passion.  Whether my perception finding a voice in my paintings signifies profundity or not is subject to debate. Opinions vary. And all our strutting around and arguing and posturing (including my own) will someday be swallowed up by one of the most mysterious forces in our universe: Silence. That, we can likely be cautiously sure of, is an accurate universal perception steeped in some kind of reality that applies to all living things.
