My name is Shahzad Kazemi.
I believe that our perception and visual experiences of the world is so profoundly influential and constitutes a nonverbal language all by itself. The visual language is the means that an artist uses to communicate with others. Much of our thinking process is visual.

In order to create a work of art, the artist must visualize and use visual memory to see the design and outcome before actualizing the image. In creating art, I try to inspire, entertain, inform and transform. I also try to arouse emotion, spark an imagination, delight the senses, inspire thought in a new way. We still live in a charming world that is full of magnificent colors and forms that are joyful and everlasting. I hope to convey this in my work.

My education and professional experiences:
I was born in Tehran, Iran. I received my High School diploma in Graphic Art, at Azadegan High School, Tehran; in 1982 an my BA in General Visual Communication (Graphic Design) from Azad University in Tehran, 1993. I worked as a graphic artist in the advertising department of TROY MUTFAK CO. in Istanbul for two years. I left Turkey for the Dubai in United Arab Emirates where I worked in AL ASSEL CO. as a graphic designer, in 1996. I visited Germany and Belgium in 1998 and I did some research on the art of design, illustration and advertising in Europe. I was employed by RAMPAR CO., Tehran, as a graphic Designer in marketing, in 1999.
During my professional career as a designer, I realized that I enjoy picture making. I illustrated images whenever possible to fit with some of my design work.
