Ever since my schooldays I was attrackted by creative subjects and matters. Drawing was one of my favourite pastimes and that is why i took classes at the ‘Vrije Academie’ in Venlo from the age of sixteen. My teachers in those days were Huub van Gerven and Louis Smeets. The classes I took included portrait and model drawing.

In my work human relationships and elements from nature are a regularly recurring theme. It is important to me that the viewer has the space to give his own thoughts and interpretations to her work. The viewer is part of the whole process, he provides the finishing touch.
