Monique Lucy is a poet, mixed media artist and entrepreneur. She studied Italian Literature specializing in Magical Realism and Philosophy. She is born in the Netherlands but currently residing in Antwerp, Belgium.

Monique uses her Art to express personal feelings and worldly subjects that are related to the unconscious mind. Her art is all about emotions and feelings - loss, fear, depression, passion - things that can not be easily understood.

One of the great challenges for any artist is how to be able to make a living as an Artist so she founded PassionofArt.com; an online Artist Art Gallery to help artist better promote their works.

Her favorite quote is one once made by Bernard Shaw:
"Without art, the crudeness of reality would make the world unbearable"
