Lelio is a Mixed-Media Artist who always has a strong awareness to the Visual arts since 1980, but he didn't start that interest in the abstracts until 1990, after he completing a 4 years educational study program in plastic arts, he began teaching art class for many years.

Initially he concentrates in doing figurative and abstract mixing with a lot of forms with colors he like to create his work with fingers and knives rather than of brushes, he likes to make a lot of textures in his work
He is very abstract  and surrealist artist also an instinctive painter has his inspiration from life as philosophy, nature, social, Politic, love or anything from everything he has experiences with. He moved to MA in 1993, now he resides in Everett, MA and has been working in his studio ever since.
he displays his work in many exhibitions, galleries and institution abroad including USA, Santo Domingo, Haiti, France and Canada.
